The future of Diego Godin in Atletico is unknown

The Uruguayan central, one of the most reliable in La Liga and an essential piece for Simeone in the dressing room, has a girlfriend with a lot of money, Manchester City, and a coach eager to lead him again: Manuel Pellegrini. According to reliable sources, Paco Casal, the player's agent, has dropped the name of the Atletico defender in the offices of City, but Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano never wanted to bypass the Atletico officials.

After several attempts to strengthen their defensive line, Pellegrini is clear and is looking for the effectiveness of a player known to him, with experience in Europe and capable of leading the team from the back.
