"In life, we must do what makes us happy and always keep in mind that we can all achieve whatever we set out to do". This is how Jordi Gil, the climber raised in the Pyrenees who has transformed himself into an extreme athlete with a message, understands life. His vision of the world includes, of course, overcoming challenges and motivation, but in his case, it also involves setting goals with sick people or those who have suffered some kind of injury. "They are the true heroes, the ones who truly convey values every day," says Gil, who, with the intention of collaborating with foundations, goes from meeting to meeting and embarks on practically any extreme sports challenge that comes his way.
Jordi Gil never stops. As part of the personal project 'Paso por la vida' (Passing through Life), which is supported by the Sifu Group Foundation, he will complete an Ironman with three people who have overcome an illness. A challenge that is still open to sponsorship.
If that weren't enough, the time has also come for him to star in his own documentary. 'A Week with Jordi Gil,' exclusively filmed with GoPro cameras, will show what his life is like, always connected to sports. "Wherever I go, I find time and space to train. Nowadays, people complain about everything and only make excuses. I want to show that with effort, you can reach wherever you want," he says. Overcoming challenges is his life philosophy.
