Alianza Lima's first foreign reinforcement arrives
Tomás Costa arrived in Lima this morning and quickly went to Matute to undergo the respective medical exams. Of course, Pablo Bengoechea needs him as soon as possible to start the preseason.
The Argentine arrived around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday and was approached by the press. The player did not give details about his connection to the club, but thanked Bengoechea for making his arrival in Peruvian football possible.
At 32 years old, Costa will have the difficult task of making people forget about Luis Aguiar, who left Alianza Lima and signed with Nacional de Uruguay, the eternal rival of Peñarol, a club with which he felt identified. No less.
In the last few hours, it was known that Bengoechea will arrive in Lima on Friday along with the Uruguayan reinforcement Maximiliano Lemos, who officially played minutes in 2017 with Juventud.
Then, Bengoechea will hold a press conference at Matute to talk about his new squad and the challenge of winning the bicampeonato with Alianza Lima and the Copa Libertadores.
