He returns to soccer. Uruguayan forward Diego Forlán has signed with Kitchee SC, champion of the Hong Kong league, the entity announced on Thursday in social media.
Forlán, 38 years old, joins the Hong Kong team for a new experience in Asia after an ungratifying spell in the Indian Mumbay City in 2016, during which he played only eleven games and scored five goals.
Previously, the Uruguayan star played in the 2014-15 season for the Japanese Cerezo Osaka, where he scored 17 goals in 42 matches. Afterwards, he returned for a season to Peñarol de Montevideo before moving to India.

After winning the league last season, Kitchee currently occupies the first position in the table in the current championship. With this decision, the popular 'Cachavacha' puts an end to speculations that had him as a new reinforcement for Peñarol in the Copa Libertadores.
