WWE and Sports Illustrated choose the best wrestlers of 2017

With the end of the year approaching, WWE and Sports Illustrated have each chosen their top ten superstar wrestlers. In the case of WWE, the most outstanding wrestler was AJ Styles. However, Sports Illustrated chose Kenny Omega as the best. Thus, the star of New Japan Pro Wrestling won the match against the 'Phenomenal' current world champion.

Sports Illustrated criteria for the list include performance this year, in-ring ability, and impact on different companies. It should be noted that the magazine mentioned Finn Bálor, Shinsuke Nakamura, Tetsuya Naito, Brock Lesnar, among others who did not make the final selection.
