Alvin Kamara Fined for Breaking NFL Footwear Rules
The New Orleans Saints' running back, Alvin Kamara, has been fined by the NFL for breaking the official footwear regulations in the game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The player explained that he had to pay $6,079 for wearing special Christmas-themed shoes during the game, which is not allowed according to the league's rules that state official shoes must be worn.
Kamara stated that he hopes this incident will help raise funds for underprivileged children who do not have shoes, so despite the fine, it was an altruistic act.
Several players wore similar Christmas-themed sneakers during warm-up, but they switched them for the game.
