The idea is that, after the farewell match of the Peruvian national team, to be played on June 2nd at the Estadio Nacional against an opponent yet to be determined (probably Scotland), the 'team of all' will travel to Europe on the 3rd to concentrate and on June 12th head to Moscow to make their debut on the 16th at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The road to Russia 2018
To that end, on February 28th, the physical trainer of the Peruvian national team, Néstor Bonillo, the manager of the national teams, Antonio García Pye, and the head of security of the Peruvian Football Federation, Abel Gamarra, will be part of a delegation that will travel to Austria and Germany to visit training grounds after attending a FIFA coordination seminar in Moscow.
In the heart of the Alps
On the agenda is the Montafon Valley in the Vorarlberg region, in the heart of the Alps, where the Löwen Hotel is located in the town of Schruns. This town is the largest in the area and has a nearby football complex situated 700 meters above sea level, surrounded by alpine peaks and perpetual snow. It has two natural grass playing fields, an artificial field, and two training fields. Another option is the town of Neustift, in a Tyrolean valley, 25 kilometers from the city of Innsbruck.
In Germany, Hoffenheim is targeted, where the club's training ground is located, which is equipped with advanced technology.
