In the midst of December celebrations, Lobos BUAP continues to strengthen themselves to face the challenging Clausura 2018, where the goal will be to secure their permanence. With three offensive players as reinforcements, Rafa Puente and his board confirmed the arrival of Gabriel Cortez.
The skillful 22-year-old Ecuadorian player will join Jerónimo Amione, Irven Ávila, and Luis Márquez as offensive reinforcements for the pack, recalling that they have already lost Jonathan Fabbro, Emanuel Herrera, and Luis Quiñones.
Cortez has played his entire career at Independiente del Valle, since 2012, accumulating more than 140 games and 28 goals, highlighting the 2015 season where he had his best moment by playing 37 games and scoring 12 goals.
The Ecuadorian midfielder has been selected for the Under-20 team and also for the senior Ecuadorian National Team for the CONMEBOL qualifiers against Paraguay and Colombia a few months ago, playing 31 minutes against the coffee growers.
