Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are the reigning champions of the NBA. They defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in last June's finals and were crowned champions at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Steph Curry and Kevin Durant were the stars that night.
Led by 39 points from Kevin Durant and 34 from Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 in the fourth game to win the NBA finals series 4-1.

Golden State won the best-of-seven series 4-1, reclaiming the throne they lost to the Cavaliers a year ago, and completed a 16-1 record in the playoffs, the best winning percentage in NBA history.
The Warriors also won titles in 1947 and 1956 when the team was based in Philadelphia, and took the crown in 1975 and 2015 when they were based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
It was also the first NBA title of Durant's career, who left Oklahoma City in July to join the Warriors with hopes of winning his first championship.
