Anderson Santamaría was one of the standout players for Melgar in the past season of the Descentralizado 2017. However, the Tingo María-born player will no longer be part of the team led by Enrique Meza.

The defender and midfielder posted on his Facebook page that his future is far from Arequipa with an emotional message where he shows the great atmosphere that existed in the team.

"Goodbyes are sad. It's time to leave in search of a dream, breaking the tradition of spending every Christmas together. But distance won't separate us, family. I will miss you," he wrote on his Facebook account.

It is still not known exactly what the national team player will do, but without a doubt, he could close his transfer to a foreign club.
