Former Argentine football superstar Maradona accuses Susana Giménez

Following this accusation, Susana Giménez requested to be cleared of the charges brought by "El Diez" (Maradona) and, as a result, the Judiciary issued the following statement: "Considering the state of these proceedings, take into account Mrs. Susana Giménez Aubert's submission attached at pp. 110/114. In light of her plea for acquittal, which is solely within the jurisdiction of the presiding magistrate, forward this present case to the Departmental Guarantees Court No. 1 for appropriate action."

In response to this, lawyer Matías Morla, Maradona's legal representative, shared his opinion with Clarín and gave hints about the next steps in the case. "When the criminal court receives Susana Giménez's acquittal, Diego must give his opinion regarding whether or not a crime has been committed as a party involved in the criminal process," Morla informed. He continued, "The guarantor judge will then send the case to the prosecutor and Maradona, who will then make a decision."
It seems that Maradona will remain firm in his position against Susana for breaking the restraining order, which specifically stated: "In case of non-compliance, apply appropriate penalties and report the possible commission of the crime of disobedience to criminal justice."

"El Diez's" lawyer is trying to calm things down and revealed that Maradona would move forward unless Susana reached out and smoothed things over. "I will try to put an end to this regarding Susana, but based on her recent statements, it seems unlikely. Susana should call Diego," Morla concluded.
This is not the first time Maradona has filed a "disobedience" lawsuit against the TV host. In 2013, he initiated such a lawsuit because she ignored the restraining order that prohibited Verónica Ojeda from showing their son, Dieguito Fernando, on television. At that time, with the help of friends, Diego reconsidered and did not pursue the case. On the other hand, Maradona's lawyers chose not to proceed with the trial and did not appeal the host's acquittal.
