The Shield: A Tribute to the American Troops
The Shield is undoubtedly one of the most formidable teams in WWE history. And Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose proved it last Thursday at the show the company prepared to honor the US troops.
On this occasion, the members of The Shield had a tough Australian Tag Team match against Samoa Joe, Cesaro, and Sheamus, who they also faced last Monday night individually during RAW.
The match began with a spectacular exchange of blows between Cesaro and Seth Rollins. Soon after, they switched with Dean Ambrose and Sheamus. And with the referee's distractions, the actions sometimes turned into a battleground.
Towards the end of the fight, Seth Rollins saved Roman Reigns from a Coquina Clutch by Samoa Joe, who was eliminated from the match. Later, the 'Architect' and Dean Ambrose hit Sheamus with a Kingmaker and Dirty Deeds, and then the 'Emperor' finished the actions with a spear on Cesaro.
At the end of the match, The Shield thanked the soldiers for their service to the United States. "The most powerful faction in WWE history considers you their brothers," said Seth Rollins.
