Colo Colo needs to win or draw, even with a loss, and have some other specific results in order to celebrate a new title after two years of waiting. They have all they need to achieve this against a rival that is not fighting for anything in the standings but will try to prevent the celebration at home.
Huachipato, on the other hand, will try to ruin Colo Colo's celebration. Cesar Vigevani's team is currently in tenth place with 16 points and is coming off three consecutive defeats. Additionally, they will be without Jorge Ortega and their starting fullbacks Claudio Jopia and José Bizama. Their star player, Yeferson Soteldo, is still doubtful.
Colo Colo is the leader with 30 points, followed by Unión Española with 28, who will face Everton at home.
