James Harden leads Houston Rockets to Victory over Utah Jazz

James Harden took off in the third quarter to finish with 29 points, and Chris Paul came close to a triple-double as the Houston Rockets defeated the Utah Jazz 112-110 on Thursday to remain leaders in the NBA's Western Conference.

The Rockets, who struggled in the first half against rookie Donovan Mitchell (26 points), had to wait until the third quarter to turn the game around with the help of Harden and Paul. Paul ended the game with 18 points, 13 assists, and 9 rebounds.

With their seventh consecutive victory, Houston maintains their position as leaders in the Western Conference with a record of 19-4, just half a game ahead of the reigning champions Golden State Warriors (20-6).

"We lost our concentration towards the end of the game, allowing them to come back," said Chris Paul after the victory. "There are things we still need to improve, but it's a win and we'll take it," added the popular 'CP3'.

Ryan Anderson also contributed with 23 points for the Rockets. On the other hand, Donovan Mitchell was the standout performer for the Utah Jazz with 26 points.
