FC Barcelona Squad Travels to Florence for Preseason Match
The FC Barcelona squad left El Prat airport this morning at 0930 and arrived in Bologna airport some 90 minutes later. The squad will make the additional distance of approximately 100km to Florence by coach.
The delegation is headed up by club president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, sporting vice-president, Jordi Mestre, director of professional sport, Albert Soler and technical secretary, Robert Fernández. Luis Enrique has a squad of 18 players ahead of the game against the Serie A side but Javier Mascherano, Messi, Dani Alves and Neymar, are not included in the trio as they only recently joined up with the squad following their later holidays as a result of their participation in the Copa Ameriaca 2015 in Chile.
Tonight’s Fiorentina-Barça game forms part of the International Champions Cup, and the match kicks-off at 2100 (CET) at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
