Rodrigo Goldberg, journalist from Fox Sports Chile, used his own Twitter account to clarify the controversial tweet he made regarding Raul Ruidíaz in which he stated that the Peruvian "didn't even come close", accompanied by a photo of himself during his time as a footballer.
The apologies
His coworker and also journalist, Oscar Buch, was the one who made the tweet that triggered the controversy, as while for some it could be seen as part of a joke, others could see it as an offensive message against Raul Ruidíaz, who is the current top scorer for Monarcas Morelia in the Apertura MX with 11 goals and is about to play in the semifinals of said tournament. Rodrigo Goldberg also clarified, in two tweets, the story behind the publication.
