Jefferson Farfán has had the busiest month of his entire life. He has been to a large number of airports to play matches in distant cities. His reward was going to the World Cup with Peru.

Jefferson Farfán must be feeling quite tired due to the amount of traveling he has done in recent days. The 'Foquita' mentioned that he felt exhausted after spending almost 50 hours on a plane.

The Peruvian did not exaggerate when calculating that amount of time, as he has practically spent more time traveling than playing in these two weeks. His long journey began when he was called up for the playoff for the 2018 World Cup against New Zealand.

On November 5th, he departed from Moscow to the city of Wellington. That trip was 16,600 km long. A truly extensive journey that would end in a goalless draw at Westpac Stadium.

Then, from that New Zealand city, he would share a flight with the Peruvian national team to Lima. The journey back to his home country was 10,600 km long. Despite the fatigue, Jefferson Farfán would end up happy after scoring the goal that secured the qualification for the 2018 World Cup.

Once the celebrations for the qualification were over, the Lokomotiv Moscow striker boarded a plane destined for the Russian capital to prepare for the match against Copenhagen FC in the Europa League. During that journey, he covered a distance of 12,700 km.

He had barely any time to rest due to the long journey, as he would once again go to an airport to head to the Russian city of Khabarovsk. That short trip added 6,500 km. In that city, the Peruvian striker would score the winning goal (2-1).

After that match, Jefferson Farfán would return to Moscow with the team delegation. Once again, he would have covered around 6,500 km. After all those flights, the former Schalke 04 player can say that he literally went around the world.

If we add up all those hours of travel since he flew to New Zealand, Jefferson Farfán covered an average distance of 111,400 km. An incredible number for any soccer player. However, the effort of the attacker was rewarded with Peru's qualification for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
