César Vallejo made decisive decisions after losing to Sport Boys in the Second Division final. The Trujillo club decided to end its relationship with coach Francisco Cortes for not fulfilling the established objectives.
The 'Poetas' issued a statement hours later after failing to obtain promotion to the First Division, which generated unease among the fans, who demanded the departure of some players due to their low performance throughout the campaign.
In the notice published by César Vallejo on their social media, it is notified that the management terminated the contract of Colombian Francisco Cortes and his coaching staff for not meeting the terms established in the first instance.
"Thank you Coach Cortes. Good luck wherever you go. We will continue fighting to return to the first division," mentioned the institution initially.
