TSM remains in the U17 playoffs after Sunday's victory

Santos Laguna secured their spot in the semifinals of the Apertura 2017 Tournament by defeating Necaxa by the minimum difference.

Now, the team will face Chivas in the semifinals, with dates and times yet to be defined.

It was a completely contested and fierce match.

In the 41st minute, forward Santiago Ramos appeared in the area to send the ball into the back of the net after a set-piece play, in which defender Édgar Gámez intervened with a solid header.

For several moments, the match became heated with many hard tackles, however, the team led by Omar Tapia prevailed based on their balance in all lines, highlighting the performance of the defense, as the Warriors did not concede any goals in the 180 minutes of the tie.

With this victory, the albiverde team managed to advance to the semifinals, in search of reaching their goal, which is the championship title.
