About the new position of Decio de María, who is now in charge of the Mexican Football Federation, Francisco Ibarra, former executive of the FMF expressed in an interview for AS Mexico that there won't be many changes in the Federation.
"It's simply a continuation, administratively it's similar to how the Mexican Federation has been administrating."
The former President of the Mexican Football Federation talked about the first responsibility that Decio de María has in front of Femexfut and even asked that the sporting aspect should come before the economic one.
"Decio's first responsibility is to choose a good new coach and hopefully he thinks about the sporting aspect before the economic one," he expressed.
Regarding the corruption issue in FIFA and whether the Mexican Football Federation would come out unscathed in the investigations, The former President of Femexfut commented: "Well, I believe that everyone has their responsibility, I think that in some way all of this was provoked by something, there are definitely always temptations, that doesn't mean it's good or bad, some people fall because there is a lot of money involved, maybe they feel tempted, and that's their own responsibility," he concluded.
