Inter Milan: Identifies its objectives for the winter market
With its victory last Sunday against Atalanta, Inter Milan is the only team capable of keeping up with Napoli in the Serie A standings in Italy. The nerazzurri are two points behind the leader but have the advantage of not having the wear and tear of playing European competitions.
The Giuseppe Meazza team, however, left some tasks to be done in the winter market, as they didn't manage to put all the pieces together in the summer. So this club is already exploring during the autumn what its needs and objectives are, and as La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, they are already identified.
Javier Pastore is the main target for Inter's midfield, and there is talk again of a possible exchange with Joao Mario, although it doesn't seem that the price for the Argentine will be high. Other options for the midfield are Godfred Donsah (Bologna) and, of course, Ramires from Jiangsu Suning, whose return to Europe has been considered certain for days.
On the other hand, the Lombard team could improve its defense, with Shkodran Mustafi from Arsenal being the center-back that they like the most. As for the attack, no signings are expected, but they are considering promoting young Andrea Pinamonti (18 years old) to have a place in the first team.
