Samoa Joe defeats Finn Bálor in an intense match on RAW
Since before Survivor Series, Samoa Joe and Finn Bálor have had marked differences. They even faced each other in a brutal match, which had no official winner. Despite Kurt Angle teaming them up for the RAW team, they couldn't find chemistry.
That's why the first match of the red show after the mega event was between the 'Sicario' and the Irishman. And they didn't hold anything back. Bálor used his kicks and aerial moves from the top rope, but Joe managed to dodge and reverse them.
At one point, the 'Destroyer' sent his opponent to the mat and hit him with a 'powerbomb', but the count only reached two. After that, Joe attempted a submission; he went for his 'Coquina Clutch', but the Irishman dodged it and delivered double chest kicks.
Bálor climbed up to the top rope to hit him with his 'Coup de Grace'. However, Joe moved and caught him in his 'Coquina Clutch'. Even though he didn't tap out, the referee declared the 'Sicario' the winner, as his opponent was unconscious.
