In her second WWE pay-per-view, Asuka achieved another victory, this time as part of a team. The Japanese wrestler represented RAW and secured the win in the five-on-five match at Survivor Series by eliminating Natalya and Tamina.

From the beginning of the match, the SmackDown show suffered a setback as their captain, Becky Lynch, was the first to be defeated by Bayley, who took advantage of Lynch not realizing the tag made by Alicia Fox.

Following this, the situation leveled out when Tamina crushed Bayley and eliminated her from the match. At that moment, Nia Jax confronted Tamina, leading to a showdown between the two Samoan wrestlers. This brawl spilled outside of the ring, and Jax ended up being counted out.

After a brief confusion, Alicia Fox was also eliminated by Naomi, leaving SmackDown with the numerical advantage. However, Sasha Banks managed to even the odds by forcing the former blue champion to submit.

In an attempt to maintain the advantage, Carmella entered the match. But she was eliminated by Asuka with a kick to the head. With that, Natalya and Tamina were the only remaining members of the blue brand.

But both of them managed the situation well. Natalya locked in a submission hold called the 'Sharpshooter' on Banks, forcing her to submit. The elimination of 'The Boss' left Asuka as the sole representative of the red brand. Just when the blue divas thought they had secured the victory, Asuka turned the tables and countered all their attacks to claim the win.
