Toluca takes temporary possession of fourth place in the MX League

The Toluca team temporarily took possession of fourth place in the standings by defeating Xolos 3-1 in the last match of the Apertura 2017 tournament of the MX League, held at the Nemesio Diez stadium.

The goals for the victory were scored by the Colombian Fernando Uribe at minutes 26 and 44, and by the Argentine Jesús Méndez at minute 55. The Argentine Gustavo Bou also scored for the visiting team at minute 59.

With this result, the 'Diablos Rojos' reached 29 points to occupy fourth place, awaiting the outcome of the match between América and Santos Laguna in the afternoon, while Tijuana remained with 21 points.
