"If Peru goes to the World Cup, many doors will open. The system of globalization is a system of permanent openings. A Peru that would be among the 32 teams for a World Cup will be in the global showcase and the expectations for business, international relations, and the placement of national flagship products will be very auspicious," he said.
For Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Mackay, the national productive apparatus will surely seek an upward trend. And he considered that if the classification is achieved by defeating New Zealand, there must be an ad hoc strategic foreign policy as a consequence of the victory.
"We must learn that our greatest added value, which in addition to culinary art, are other qualities that we Peruvians have, should be the object of a fairly organic action by the Peruvian State to maximize our view towards the whole world and the international community," he explained.
