Russia 2018 has a confirmed list of groups. Peru defeated New Zealand in Lima and will be present in Group 2.
This is how the groups of the 2018 Russia World Cup were formed
FACT: Teams from the same group cannot face each other. Neither can those from the same Federation. Only teams from Europe can face each other. Maximum two in a group.
Group 1 consists of Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Belgium, Poland, France, and the host Russia.
It should be noted that the positioning in this first group was determined by FIFA ranking. All mentioned teams will be the seeded teams of the 8 groups.
Group 2 includes Colombia, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay, England, Mexico, Croatia, and Peru.
Group 3 consists of Costa Rica, Sweden, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal, Iran, Iceland, and Denmark.
Group 4 includes Nigeria, Panama, Japan, Morocco, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, and Australia.
