Deontay Wilder easily defeats Bermane Stiverne

In Brooklyn, Bronze Bomber set out to avenge the offense that Stiverne had caused two years ago, when the Haitian became the first fighter not to fall against his punches and managed to withstand the 12 rounds.

For this rematch, Wilder avenged himself with ease. In less than three minutes, he knocked Stiverne down twice until referee Arthur Mercante Jr. decided to stop the fight.

Now, with the mandatory contender out of the way, Wilder openly challenges Anthony Joshua, the English champion and owner of the titles of the World Boxing Association and the International Boxing Federation.

"Kings test kings... I want Joshua. I declare war on Anthony Joshua. I've waited a long time, I know I am the champion and I am the best. I would go anywhere in the world to fight him," said Wilder, who now has a record of 39 wins with 38 KOs.

On the same card, former American champion Shawn Porter achieved an important victory despite suffering a fracture in his right hand. Porter defeated Adrián Granados in a fight for the silver welterweight crown endorsed by the World Boxing Council, which represents the first important step in regaining the title he lost last year to Keith Thurman.
