Peru shocked by Paolo Guerrero's doping news
Paolo Guerrero's doping news has been a cold shower for all of Peru. However, a few days ago, when the qualifiers came to an end, the official page of Conmebol published information about all the tests that were carried out.
"A total of 360 urine samples could be obtained during the 18 CONMEBOL qualifying matches, which yielded results without any incidents, according to the Unit's report," explains Conmebol. (see note here)
Undoubtedly, this publication contradicts the rumors of a possible doping by Paolo Guerrero in the match against Argentina. None of the samples tested positive.
So far, the Peruvian Football Federation has not made any statements because, clarifies, it is also unaware of this news. This delicate issue will be clarified in the coming hours.
