XX Mundo Cuervo Half Marathon

This morning in the municipality of Tequila, located about 50 kilometers from Guadalajara, the XX edition of the Mundo Cuervo Half Marathon was presented.

It is a unique athletic competition in the country, as the 21 kilometers start in the downtown of Tequila and then run through the agave landscape. In addition, this competition is not an ordinary half marathon, as there are ups and downs and several kilometers of dirt road. So the demand for the competitors is greater, as the hills are interesting and the wear and tear is greater.

The prize money for this competition is 200,000 pesos, to be distributed among the winners of both genders. In addition, all participants who cross the finish line enter a draw for a brand new car, giving it even more attractiveness.

The registration fee for the Half Marathon is 400 pesos and can be done on the HubSports website and the Mundo Cuervo website.

The race will start at 7:00 am on Sunday, November 19th and there will also be options for runners who want to do 10 or 21 kilometers.

For this competition, the route has changed a little and there will be nine kilometers of agave path, so those who have never had the opportunity to run this competition will have the chance to participate in a one-of-a-kind race in the country.

There are still available numbers for this competition, but according to the organizers, they will sell out in the coming weeks.

Packet pick up will take place on November 18th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Camino Real hotel in Guadalajara, and for Tequila residents, numbers will be distributed from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
