MLB Players in World Series
28 percent of Major League Baseball players are foreign-born, and that percentage remains the same for the World Series, as 13 of the 50 players registered on the rosters were born outside the United States.
While once again there will be no Mexicans in the Fall Classic, Puerto Rico leads the list with four representatives, three will be with the Astros (Carlos Correa, Juan Centeno, and Carlos Beltran) while Enrique Hernandez is with the Dodgers.
There are 10 Spanish-speaking players, along with two Japanese players and one player born in the Dutch Antilles.
