Dani Alves: "I am not Neymar or Edinson Cavani's babysitter at PSG" [VIDEO]

The right-back gave an interview to Canal+ France where he talked about the discussion that occurred between Neymar and Cavani.

Fue claro y directo

He was clear and direct. If they pointed him out as Neymar's partner in PSG, Dani Alves spoke out. With the experience that characterizes him, the Brazilian did not hesitate to answer all the questions from Canal+ of France in an interview that clearly had to do with the discussions that took place between Neymar and Cavani in past weeks. The former Barcelona player distanced himself from each of the players and responded in his own style for the French media.

“It seemed like we were in recess, arguing about who owned the ball. I didn't go to give him the ball. If you look at the images, you will see that in the beginning I took the ball to take the free-kick," the full-back commented on the matter. He was signed for free in this transfer market.

"At that moment, Cavani came to also take the ball, and when he was hiding the ball behind me, Neymar came from behind and stole it from me. I am not Neymar's babysitter or Cavani's babysitter. I just took the ball because I wanted to take the free-kick," added the Brazilian player.

The PSG has become a structure created to bear the weight of its three attackers, Neymar-Cavani-Mbappé, often saviors of the poor collective image left by the team trained by Unai Emery.

The last chapter took place last night at the Velodrome Stadium in Marseille, in the domestic eternal rival's territory, in the "classic" of French football, as the French media insist on calling it despite the interstellar distance between both teams.
