In the fourth day of activities of the World Archery Championship, the Mexicans were eliminated in the individual category, after the archers lost their respective rounds.

In the recurve category, Mariana Avitia lost to Argentina's Florencia Leithold by 6-4 in the third round. On the other hand, in the men's division, Luis Álvarez lost 7-1 to Canadian Crispin Dueñas.

In the compound category, Linda Ochoa, who was the top seed, lost to fellow Mexican Fernanda Zepeda with a score of 143-142.

Zepeda defeated Fatin Nurfatehah Mat from Malaysia by 146-144 in the next round. In the quarterfinals, she was unable to defeat German Kristina Heigenhauser, losing by 146-144. Finally, in the men's division, Rodolfo González lost in the third round to Croatian Ivan Markes. The Mexican was eliminated by the tie-breaker arrow after the score ended tied at 144 points. Both archers shot a 10, but the Croatian's arrow was closer to the center.
