Gudmundur Benediktsson, Icelandic narrator, narrated the historic pass of the Vikings to the World Cup in Russia after defeating Kosovo 2-0.

The 'Martinoli' of Iceland enthusiastically sang the goal of Johann Gudmundsson, the second goal of the Vikings that gave them direct access to their first World Cup.

This is not the first time Benediktsson shouts with emotion one of the goals of the Icelandic national team, as in the last edition of the Eurocup he became known for his peculiar way of narrating a match of the Nordic team.

Iceland qualified for the 2018 World Cup as the leader of Group I with 22 points, ahead of Croatia, who obtained the playoff by scoring 20 points.
