With an agonizing goal from Richarlison in the 90th minute, Watford defeated Swansea City 2-1 playing at Liberty Stadium in a match valid for the sixth round of the Premier League.
The Hornets were not in the best form. They had fallen to Manchester City by a whopping 6-0 in the last round at home, so now they were forced to recover points away from home.
And so it was. Just in the 13th minute, Watford opened the scoring thanks to a goal from Andre Gray, who started from three quarters of the field and played with André Carrillo on the wing before finding the ball again and finishing.
Carrillo started again and proved that he is one of the best in his team. He not only participated in the goal play, but also showed constant activity in the attack.
In the second half, in the 56th minute, Tammy Abraham could have equalized the score; however, in the agony of the match, Richarlison beat Polish Fabianski to seal the result.
In the next round, Watford will have to visit West Bromwich.
