The Arsenal Will Insist on Lemar's Signing
The Arsenal FC has taken the initiative to close the signing of Thomas Lemar in the next transfer market. The player was very close to signing for Arsenal in the last transfer market, after the English club reached a principle of agreement with AS Monaco for a figure close to 100 million euros. Thomas Lemar stopped the transfer, and also the transfer of Alexis to Manchester City. But Arsenal's idea is not to give up on his signing.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the English club will resume negotiations for the player as the winter market approaches. Arsene Wenger and the Gunners executives consider that Lemar did not sign in order to play in the UEFA Champions League. However, everything can change in January, as Monaco's trajectory may be slightly viable for a transfer.
Even if they qualify for the next phase of the Champions League, the English club believes they can sign the player in winter. People close to the English club have already revealed that Arsenal is preparing its offensive, showing its absolute certainty that the agreement can be closed.
