'Cuto' Guadalupe, former player of Universitario de Deportes, traveled to the United States to spend a few days on vacation with his family, but he was surprised by Hurricane Irma.
Like other residents and tourists who were in Florida, 'Cuto' Guadalupe had to evacuate the affected areas and seek refuge to avoid any accidents. The former player also used his Instagram account to describe what he is experiencing in North American lands.
"Here we are with what we said: wind and rain. This is terrible. We are a little worried but it is only rain and winds," said 'Cuto' Guadalupe in a video.
It is worth remembering that 'Cuto' Guadalupe had already made his situation known hours before posting the video on his social networks, after learning that Hurricane Irma was approaching. "There are strong winds that are scaring us and I have to go home now. I'm already afraid," expressed the former player.
As is known, Hurricane Irma made landfall this weekend in the Florida Keys, the southern tip of the United States, with winds approaching 215 kilometers per hour, reported the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
Hurricane Irma, which has left at least 25 dead and caused significant damage in the Caribbean, is located 30 kilometers east-southeast of Key West and is moving at a speed of 13 kilometers per hour.
The NHC warned not to go out on the streets after the eye of the hurricane passes, as the "dangerous winds will return very quickly" when the center of the cyclone moves away.
