Usain Bolt has resurrected.

In two races he went from being 62nd in the world this year, with 10.12, to becoming the sixth of the season, with 9.87. He made the same time in the heats and in the final, with exactly one hour of separation between each test. A fact that needs to be valued, by the way.

In the final he had a slow start, with a reaction to the gunshot of only 173 milliseconds, the worst of all competitors. But his acceleration remains devastating. Although he was fourth with about 30 meters to go, he made use of his impressive finishing power and won with those 9.87.

The challenge that Justin Gatlin has thrown at him over and over again throughout the season has been accepted. We will see each other soon, at the World Championships in Beijing, it seemed like The Lightning said after those two victories.

After him, the American Mike Rodgers (9.90), the Jamaican Kemar Bailey-Cole (9.92), the British Chijiudu Ujah (9.96) and the French Jimmy Vicaut (9.98), the European record holder, crossed the finish line.
