Valencia's Attempt to Sign Brazilian Forward Luano Fails
Very active during the final stretch of the summer transfer window, Valencia tried until practically the last minute to secure the arrival of Brazilian attacker Luan. However, the Mestalla team has not been able to finalize the incorporation of the talented 24-year-old player for the already started 2017-2018 season.
The reason is none other than the rejection from Gremio which, according to the various reports that have been happening in Brazil, has turned down an offer valued at around €10M. The squad considers the player to be key given the current situation of the club, with the dispute of the Copa Libertadores.
However, Valencia does not give up on the player and will continue trying to sign him... but we will have to wait until next January. As highlighted by Marca newspaper, the team from the capital of Turia will once again attempt to sign the international Brazilian (whose contract extends until 2018) during a winter transfer window that will start in just 4 months. An issue to follow.
