The Best Goal of the Season

Croatian forward Mario Mandzukic, from Juventus, scored the best goal of the season in the Champions League final against Real Madrid, according to the fans who voted through the UEFA website.

Mandzukic's bicycle kick represented the provisional 1-1 in the match played in Cardiff, which ended with a 4-1 victory for Madrid.

Mandzukic's goal received 26 percent of the votes and narrowly surpassed Senegalese forward Mousa Sow's bicycle kick against Manchester United.

Real Madrid's Brazilian midfielder Casemiro's goal against Napoli in the Champions League received 20 percent of the votes, and Marco Asensio's goal with the Spanish U-21 team against Macedonia in the European Championship received 11 percent.

Former Barcelona player Jordi Mboula's goal, in which he completed a solo run against Borussia Dortmund in the Youth Champions League, finished in fifth place with 8 percent, ahead of Austrian Kevin Friesenbichler's goal against Astra in the Europa League (6%) and Italian Daniela Sabatino's goal against Sweden in the Women's European Championship held in July (4%).
