A real beating
The Vitoria Guimaraes, where Peruvian football player Paolo Hurtado plays, received a real thrashing this Saturday at home from Sporting Lisbon in the third round of the Portuguese league (0-5).
This result was surprising in the Portuguese league. Vitoriam Guimaraes had been showing a good level of play and much more was expected at home. Against all odds, the good level of Sporting Lisbon with its new signings was reaffirmed.
Sporting Lisbon, where players like Fabio Coentrao or Mathiey play this season, former players of Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively, certified today their good start in the league after thrashing the powerful Vitoria de Guimaraes - fourth in the last league - by five goals to zero.
Peruvian Paolo Hurtado started as a starter, but was substituted at 58 minutes, replaced by Sturgeon. In the next round, Vitoria Guimaraes must visit Paços de Ferreira, former club of the Peruvian player.
