The French forward of Borussia Dortmund, Ousmane Dembelé, who is not attending his team's training sessions to force his transfer to FC Barcelona, was publicly criticized by some of his teammates, including Gonzalo Castro on Friday.

"We will solve that internally," said the defender, "but we must say loudly and clearly that this cannot be done and that his behavior is detrimental to the team."
"If a player can say, 'Since another team wants me, I won't train anymore,' that will be fatal for football," Castro continued.
The day before, center-back Sokratis declared in Kicker magazine: "Ousmane is a young boy. He must realize that no player is bigger than the team. Everyone must understand that they have to work for the team."
While negotiations seem to be at a standstill between Barça and Dortmund, Dembelé has not appeared in public since last Thursday. At the moment, he is suspended by his club for not attending training without justified cause.
Matthias Sammer, former star of the club and today a television commentator, considered the attitude of the forward dangerous: "I am worried about what is happening in Dortmund," he said. "The great strength of this club - the family spirit, the sense of belonging, the charisma - are threatened."
