With a great performance on the field, the AC Milan took a big step towards returning to the group stage in an international competition; they defeated Skendija from Macedonia 6-0 in the first leg of the Europa League playoffs.
In the Italian team, Cristian Zapata started and played the entire match in the defensive line alongside Leonardo Bonucci, who joined the club this season.
André Silva scored in the 13th and 27th minutes of the match; Ricardo Montolivo (25' and 85'), Fabio Borini (67'), and Luca Antonelli (68') added the other goals, securing a convincing victory for Milan.
The second leg between both teams will take place on August 24th, in Macedonia.
