After the terrorist attack that occurred in Las Ramblas, Barcelona, in which at least 13 people were reported dead and a hundred wounded, various sports personalities have shown their support for the Spanish city; Mexican pilot Sergio Pérez did the same through his Twitter account.

"My deepest condolences to all those affected by the attacks in Barcelona! Strength to all the families, you are not alone! Speechless #PEACE" were the words posted by the Formula 1 driver.
