First it was Mourinho, then John Terry and now Gary Cahill.

The arrival of Falcao at Chelsea has had the expected prelude thanks to the statements of his new coach and his new teammates.

Mou's winks towards the Colombian forward have been the order of the day in recent days.

"He has recovered from his injury, that's why we brought him", a strong message that he later complemented with the following sentence: "Falcao is desperate to silence his critics".

The same Mourinho declared later that John Terry, the captain of the blue ship, had recommended the hiring of the Tiger.

Now the one who appears on the scene is the English defender Gary Cahill, who in an interview with Sky Sports did not spare praise for his new teammate.

"He is a great player. He has experience and he has shown it. One doesn't become a bad player overnight. He has done it at the top level and he is a great player."

And he added: "This is an easy group to enter. We welcome everyone with open arms. The calibre of player for Chelsea is normally top class and he fits that mold. Hopefully, he can start scoring many goals."

Falcao arrived in New York on Wednesday to join the team's season.
