After being dismissed as a member of Lobos BUAP team, William Palacios, through his Twitter account, published a note where he stated that the Benemérita de Puebla manipulated the facts to their convenience, so the player is willing to reveal the truth.

"I haven't said anything about what happened yet, I'm waiting for them to ask for our statements because we are the only ones who know what happened and everything that has happened; secondly, we have evidence of how it happened. Furthermore, the Colombian forward highlighted, in another tweet, that his family and he are stable, besides assuring that he did not harm anyone and has arguments to prove it.
