The Argentinean forward, Joaquín Larrivey has said his goodbye to the Celta Vigo supporters via a message on his Instagram account, where he states that although he leaves as a player he will always be a fan of the Galician club.
"Thanks to everyone who made this an unforgettable year for me and my family. Thanks to all at the club: physios, kit-men and team representatives for everything and always smiling. To club officials, for always being available to solve any problem", added the player in his message.
He was keen to single out the Celta fans for making him feel important at the club and for supporting him since his first day.
"And finally, to my team-mates, those who stay behind in their effort to make the club bigger and to those who also move on, you’ve all been fantastic with me", he commented.
Larrivey concludes hoping that all who remember him at Celta recall him as "a good person, who gave everything for his team and the shirt.” Vigo is a beautiful city with great people and a club that strives to do great things in football. This is what I’ll tell people when they ask me about my time at Celta Vigo. “I leave as a player but I remain a supporter", he concluded.
