Atlético de Madrid wins against Napoli in the Audi Cup 2017
Atlético de Madrid defeated Napoli 2-1 on Tuesday in the first semifinal of the Audi Cup 2017, a preseason friendly tournament that took place in the German city of Munich.
After a goalless first half, in which Jan Oblak saved a penalty shot by Milik, José María Callejón scored a spectacular volley to give Napoli the lead early in the second half (57').
However, Atlético, coached by Diego Simeone, turned the score around with goals from Fernando Torres (72') and Argentinean Luciano Vietto (82'), who had just come on as a substitute.
Now, the Spaniards only have to wait for the winner of the other semifinal to play the final. It will be either Bayern Munich or Liverpool.

In addition to the two games in this tournament, Atlético de Madrid has scheduled a visit to English team Brighton & Hove Albion, a newly promoted team to the Premier League, and two matches against Leganés and Getafe, before the start of La Liga Santander.
Atlético de Madrid's coach, Simeone, acknowledged that this tournament comes in the "middle" of their preseason, with less game time than Napoli or Bayern Munich, the other teams in the Audi Cup.
"Surely this first match will be very important, because they are one step ahead of us and it will show us where we are at this moment," said the Argentine coach in a press conference.
The team coached by Italian Maurizio Sarri features Spanish players Pepe Reina, Raúl Albiol, and José Callejón, as well as Belgian Dries Mertens, Polish Arkadiusz Milik, and Italian Lorenzo Insigne.
