A Devastating Pandemic Hits New York City

A devastating pandemic has ravaged the city of New York, and one by one, the basic services collapse. Within days, with no water or food, society collapses and chaos ensues. The Division, a self-sustaining unit of tactical agents, is activated immediately. Its members, who lived seemingly normal lives among the rest, are trained agents deployed to operate independently and save society.

In Tom Clancy’s The Division, players will discover a hostile and dynamic environment where exploration and player progress are essential. Not tied to a specific class, players can switch equipment at any time to adapt to the needs of the situation and their preferred playstyle, or to complement the choices made by the other three specialized agents on the team.

Fight to Survive in a Dangerous City

Players will be able to upgrade their weapons, equipment, and skills to fight in a city where danger can come from anywhere, anyone, and at any time. Unveiled at E3, the Dark Zone is one of the most dangerous areas in the "Big Apple," a quarantined abandoned district that provides a thrilling multiplayer experience with unique gameplay and legendary loot. In this zone, players can collaborate with other agents or attack them to steal hard-earned rewards.
