Football player claims negligence by Sport Rosario
Sport Rosario defender Renzo Reaños expressed his frustration after suffering severe injuries during a reserve match against Alianza Atlético last February. Reaños accused the club of forgetting about him and neglecting his medical treatment.
"The club has abandoned me. I called the president and he didn't answer. Neither did the lawyer. I need surgery. Until now, I can't walk properly. They are not only playing with me but also with my family," the defender told Depor.

Reaños stated that the last time he had contact with the club, he received an outrageous proposal. "They told me to split the expenses," the defender explained. "It was disrespectful. I have been in professional football for 14 years and this has never happened to me," he added.

But that's not all. The defender, who joined Sport Rosario as one of their new signings for their first season in the First Division, revealed that the club also owes him for the second surgery.

"While it is true that they covered the expenses of the first surgery, I paid for the second one. They told me to pay and they would reimburse me, but it's been three months and nothing has happened," he emphasized.
The football player added that he has lost patience. He reported the case to the Professional Footballers Association and hopes that appropriate measures will be taken. "I'm not doing this for money, but for my health. I make a living from football," he pointed out.
Depor attempted to contact a representative from Sport Rosario for their perspective, but without success.
