Player from Recreativo IES La Orden, Pablo Abián, in his "best moment" to face Russian Open

The international badminton player, gold medalist in the European Games in Baku, said in a statement that he hopes to "continue earning points" in this competition to get closer to his goal of participating in his third Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

The player from Zaragoza has traveled to the Russian city of Vladivostok, where he will debut on Tuesday in the round of thirty-two finals against Slovenian Iztok Utrosa (ranked 106th in the world), whom Abián has defeated in the three previous occasions they have faced each other.
